DSPR is starting up a series of webinars. On 30 September commence with a first webinar on the current situation in Lebanon after the horrific explosion that took place last month. Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) Souraya Bechealany, Executive Director Sylvia Haddad of DSPR Lebanon – JCC and JCC Youth Leader Elias Habib will share their insights into the crisis and how they are responding to it on the ground. The webinar will be open to all participants and free of charge. We are therefore very glad to invite you to this webinar and offer you the opportunity of asking questions or sharing your own insights with the speakers! We will have a closer look at how DSPR Lebanon – JCC is responding to the crisis in Lebanon, how international aid is being coordinated and what challenges and constraints they face. And discuss with a beneficiary of the work of DSPR Lebanon – JCC how he is experiencing the help that is provided and what advice he will have for future assistance. After the first webinar on Lebanon, we continue with monthly webinars that will be announced here on our website, in each newsletter as well as on the social media channels of DSPR. The next webinar will focus on Planning in times of a Pandemic and how DSPR is responding to COVID19.
